Adrianne Wininsky

Biography

As a professional freelance musician, Adrianne has performed with orchestras, chamber ensembles and opera pit orchestras across America and the UK, and at music festivals around the world.

Along with TV appearances on Top of the Pops, The X Factor, and Michael Parkinson's show, she performs regularly throughout the UK and has worked with Take That, Il Divo, Elbow, Eliza Carthy, Teatro, Michael Bublé, Embrace, Daniel Beddingfield, and Chesney Hawkes.

Adrianne has played at Glastonbury, The Cornbury Festival, Fiddler's Green International Festival, and Broadstairs Folk Week, plus events in New York, Round Top Texas, Cincinnati & Cleveland Ohio, Banff Canada, Czech Republic and Luxembourg. She has also appeared as a cello soloist in Bloch's 'Schelomo' and the world premier of Michael Colgrass' 'Ghosts of Pangea' .

Some of the UK-based musicians that Adrianne performs or records with include Nathan Ball, Rachael and the Red Socks, The Mercurymen, Esther Bertram, The Lucinda Belle Orchestra, Paradigm X, Lily Fraser, and Rajko, .

Adrianne holds both bachelor and master degrees in music performance, and has spent time in India studying Carnatic music with the acclaimed Madras String Quartet.
